Notes
Black cloth and dust jacket; signed and inscribed by Merton, "In Corde Jesu, F.M. Louis OCR". Merton signed some of his books with his Monastic name "Louis" and also used the blessing "In Corde Jesu" (In the heart of Jesus) and "OCR" (Order of Cistercians - reformed - research). He used a similar method of signing, for example, in the book, "Thomas Merton and James Laughlin - Selected Letters" (see page 38). A rare and interesting find, coming originally from the significant collection of a Merton collector.
